Skills. Opportunity. Employment.

TAHN is a Swedish non-profit organization working to expand opportunities for skills, employment and sustainable livelihoods.

We develop practical, employment-focused programs that connect vocational skills development with real workplaces, private-sector demand and pathways into sustainable employment.

Practical development. Real opportunities.

TAHN was established from decades of combined experience across international development, humanitarian operations and the private sector, including work with the United Nations, international NGOs, governments and businesses.

We believe development works best when it is practical, locally relevant and connected to real economic opportunities.

Our approach brings together communities, public institutions, businesses and development partners around clearly defined needs and achievable outcomes. We start by understanding local realities and market demand, then design programs around evidence and realistic pathways to employment, enterprise and sustainable livelihoods.

Our first international program is currently under development.

Opportunity should exist at home.

People should not have to leave their country simply because they cannot find a pathway to a meaningful future at home.

Too often, limited access to skills, employment and career progression means that ambitious and capable people must look elsewhere for opportunity. Yet these are also people whose knowledge, energy and enterprise can contribute to the development of their communities and economies.

TAHN develops practical, market-relevant skills connected to real employment, enterprise and long-term career pathways.

Our objective is not to limit mobility, but to expand choice — to make staying, building a career, starting a business and contributing to one's own community genuinely viable options.

The skills we develop should create opportunities locally while remaining valuable internationally.

Skills. Opportunity. Employment.

Help us build the first programme.

TAHN is currently establishing its operations in Sweden and developing its first international program. Early support helps fund the essential groundwork — from program development and preparation to donor and partner engagement, travel and meetings — needed to secure the partnerships, resources and local engagement required for responsible implementation.

Programme information and further details about TAHN will be published as our work develops.
